The Impact of Leadership Style on the Performance of Employees of the Education and Culture Office of Southwest Aceh Regency

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style on employee performance at the Education and Culture Office of Southwest Aceh Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 71 respondents taken through saturated sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a determination coefficient value (R²) of 0.412. This means that 41.2% of employee performance variations are explained by leadership style, while the rest are influenced by other factors. In conclusion, communicative, participatory, and exemplary leadership is able to improve the performance and effectiveness of the work of the apparatus.
