Analysis of the Influence of Pancasila Ideology on the Implementation of Character Education Policy at State Junior High School 1 Suranenggala Cirebon Regency

This study aims to analyze the influence of Pancasila ideology on the implementation of character education policies at SMP Negeri 1 Suranenggala, Cirebon Regency, by identifying the forms of implementation, supporting factors, and obstacles in the implementation of Pancasila values. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and observations of school principals, BK teachers, PPKn teachers, and students. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, & Saldana which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The findings of the study show that the implementation of character education is carried out through three main aspects: integration in learning, strengthening school culture through routine habituation, and extracurricular activities as well as the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). The ideology of Pancasila has a significant influence on the dimensions of religious values, humanity and justice, as well as unity and democracy.
