The main objective of this study is to find out the extent to which weather changes affect the efficiency of electrical energy conversion, as well as to provide technical recommendations for the development of solar power systems in tropical climates. The research process was carried out by directly measuring the electrical parameters and the intensity of light received by the solar panels. Data collection was conducted over three consecutive days, with two days representing sunny conditions and one cloudy day. The observation results showed that there was a quite striking difference in performance between sunny and cloudy conditions. In sunny weather, solar panels are able to produce power close to their maximum capacity with a high level of efficiency. In contrast, when the sky is cloudy, the intensity of light decreases significantly, which has a direct impact on the decrease in voltage and electric current. The efficiency of the panels decreased by 44.4% in cloudy conditions compared to during sunny days.
