Development of the Crafty Own Integrative Game Based on Papercraft to Stimulate Fine Motor Skills in Children Aged 5–6 Years

Abstract

This study aimed to develop the Crafty Own integrative game based on smartphone technology to stimulate fine motor skills in children aged 5–6 years. A research and development design with the ADDIE model was applied, involving early childhood education experts, media experts, teachers, and kindergarten children from three schools. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observation, and analysed descriptively. Validation results showed feasibility scores of 85 percent from learning experts, 95 percent from media experts, and 87 percent from users, with an average of 89 percent. Small- and large-group trials yielded feasibility scores of 86 percent and 89 percent, indicating that Crafty Own is feasible and engaging for stimulating children’s fine motor skills.
