This study aims to analyze the causes of confiscated goods resulting from corruption crimes not being sold at auction or not being auctioned by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), as well as strategies to optimize asset recovery to be more effective. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and document reviews. The results of the study show that the main obstacles to optimizing asset recovery include lengthy bureaucratic processes, a lack of socialization and promotion of auctions, problems with ownership documents, and the deteriorating physical condition of confiscated goods. Optimization efforts can be carried out through regulatory simplification, the use of online auction technology, improved coordination between institutions, and more innovative public communication strategies. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of synergy between the KPK, KPKNL, DJKN, and relevant stakeholders in supporting the effectiveness of asset recovery to increase state revenue.
