Abstract

Self-efficacy is an individual's belief in his or her ability to complete tasks or face certain situations. This concept was introduced by Albert Bandura through social-cognitive theory and has become one of the important indicators in determining individual success. Self-efficacy has been shown to have a significant influence on performance in various contexts, such as education, organization, and social life. This article aims to examine the concept of self-efficacy from Bandura's perspective, analyze its influence on individual performance, and present practical implications for the world of education and work. The results of the study show that individuals with high levels of self-efficacy tend to be more motivated, able to manage stress, and show better performance. Understanding the factors that shape self-efficacy, such as success experiences, modeling, verbal persuasion, and physiological conditions, is important for sustainable self-capacity development.
