Abstract

Digital spiritual music has become a rapidly growing phenomenon in the modern era, not only as a means of worship, but also as a medium for spiritual counseling. This study aims to explore the role of digital spiritual music in providing strengthening, comfort, and restoration of the soul from a theological and pastoral perspective. Based on theological principles and biblical stories such as David's musical service to Saul (1 Samuel 16:23), it is concluded that music can be an effective means of non-verbal counseling service. With a qualitative approach and literature review, it was found that spiritual music contains spiritual power that can touch the depths of human emotions, especially in facing life crises. The biblical perspective and pastoral care show that music can be an effective non-verbal counseling tool. The church and pastoral care givers need to see this potential as part of a service strategy that is relevant to the digital generation.
