Abstract

This study aimed to develop a needs-based extension framework for the School of Education at Philippine College Foundation, focusing on uplifting Barangay Barobo, Valencia City, Bukidnon. Using a descriptive research design, data were collected through validated questionnaires and focus group discussions. Results revealed a strong need for improved instructional materials, enhanced basic literacy and numeracy skills, and responsible parenting training. There was also a call for increased access to school supplies and stronger parental involvement in education. In response, the study proposed Project LEARN (Literacy Enhancement through Awareness, Reading, and Numeracy), a community extension program designed to address these educational gaps and promote sustainable development. The project underscores the institution’s commitment to community engagement and educational equity.
