Abstract

This study investigates the role of innovative Brilliant Village Programs in empowering rural communities and optimizing BUMDES (Badan Usaha Milik Desa) as a vehicle for sustainable development. The research highlights the implementation of innovative strategies that leverage local assets, including human, natural, and cultural resources, to create sustainable livelihoods. By optimizing BUMDES, the programs facilitate the establishment of community-owned enterprises that drive economic growth and improve living standards. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of participatory governance, where community members play an active role in decision-making processes, ensuring that initiatives align with local needs and aspirations. Through qualitative and quantitative analyses of various case studies, the findings demonstrate that successful implementation of Brilliant Village Programs not only enhances local economies but also strengthens community ties and fosters a sense of ownership.
